FAA Certified — Premium Air is fully FAR 135 certified as an ON-demand Air Carrier.
Pilot Experience — The Chief Pilot, Josh Debevec, holds his FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate and is currently the Chief Pilot for a corporate flight department. Josh has served in the air transportation and flight training industry for 15 years and has accumulated over 4,000 hours of flight experience,. As a corporate pilot, Josh flies around 250 hours per year, providing safe, comfortable and efficient air travel for everyone in our company, from the front line technicians to the CEO and owner.
Advance Aircraft — We operate only the most sophisticated aircraft available. We currently operate a 2018 Cirrus SR22, one of the most advanced single-engine aircraft to date, as well as a 2000 Beechcraft King Air 350, which has been outfitted with today’s most advanced avionics and comfortable cabin interior.

Meet the Chief Pilot, Josh Debevec
Josh has nearly two decades of aviation experience, earning his Bachelor of Science degree in Commercial Aviation and Flight Education from the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, North Dakota.
Josh acquired experience in supervision and flight management, while honing his background in safety and risk management, by serving as a Lead Flight Instructor and Flight Manager at UND for over seven years. During this time, Josh logged over 3,000 hours of flight time, including almost 1,000 hours of turbine time in the Beechcraft King Air C90B and C90Gti.
In 2014, Josh returned to Northern Minnesota and closer to his iron range hometown of Biwabik, when he accepted a position in Duluth to serve as the Lead Faculty for the Professional Pilot program at Lake Superior College.
Josh is not only your pilot, but also your safety manager and customer service representative, ensuring the most efficient and comfortable air service possible.
Josh helped build the LSC Professional Pilot program into a reputable two-year aviation degree program, including writing and certifying three FAA 141 flight school curriculums, and developing their aviation safety program. Josh still serves on LSC’s aviation advisory committee, helping to ensure the success of their aviation program.
In 2018, Josh became the Chief Pilot for Premium Air, providing safe and efficient transportation for company personnel. Josh also serves as the Safety Advisor for the parent company, Premium Plant Services, an industrial cleaning company. Josh provides value to Premium Plant Services by bringing and adapting his extensive aviation risk management background to the industrial industry, increasing safety and reducing risk to employees.
In Josh’s free time, Josh embraces the outdoors and beauty of Northern Minnesota and all of its wonderful seasons. You can find Josh and his wife hiking, boating, fishing, camping and mountain biking in the summer, as well as snowmobiling and skiing in the winter. Whatever your adventure might be, whether for recreation or for business, Josh is ready to get you where you need to go safely and efficiently.
